I'm sure the message has several interpretations. But in the context of this tech-savvy world, Facebook/Twitter/Blogs have striven to help people experience it.
People (some of them still consider such things as utter nonsense/waste of time) spend more than 10% of their time on such social engagements in the cyber world. Considering an average of 85 years (minus ~10-12 years of childhood and ~10 years of old-age) that's ~6 years of our Lives!
